Cody and Jaden met on Tinder in early January 2024. After meeting briefly, they planned a formal date at The Abbey, in Quincy, Illinois. Through a snowstorm, Cody drove an hour and forty-seven minutes to meet Jaden. Over dinner at the Abbey, the two of them got to know each other better, Cody being so nervous he couldn’t eat his dinner. Afterward, the two of them went to Tangerine Bowl to bowl a couple games. Jaden had worked in a bowling alley for years, but Cody had something that Jaden didn’t know; he had been a member of a bowling league for years. By the end of January, after many dinners and competitive games of bowling, the two of them officially started dating. The two were inseparable after that, rarely spending a night apart from one another. By the time summer came around, Cody asked Jaden and Hudson to move in with him at his house in Bloomfield, Iowa. The three of them spent a lot of time together going to demolition derbies, hanging out at home, and eating at Tequila Grill – Jaden and Hudson’s favorite. Living together was an adjustment, but as time passed, it felt more and more like home. During their first Christmas together, after Hudson had opened his gifts from Santa, Cody once again had something Jaden didn’t know. In a small box, presented on one knee, was a ring. The two of them spent the rest of the holiday engaged, watching Hudson, who was more focused on Santa’s visit than on Mommy’s new ring. However, Hudson did have one piece of advice for Jaden and Cody: “Now we need a bigger house for babies!” Shortly after the engagement, Cody and Jaden started their journey with infertility treatments. This was a more difficult chapter of the story for the two of them, but one that brought them together closer than before. Around this time, Cody received news that his farm was closing, and Jaden was offered a new job opportunity in Quincy. In March of 2025, the three of them bought a new house and moved to Quincy, Illinois. Now that the two of them have settled, they spend their time together working on hobbies and watching true crime documentaries. And while they have seen a lot of change in just a couple of short years, they are excited to continue life together. Not just as Cody and Jaden, but as Mr. and Mrs. Glosser. They still laugh to themselves over dinner at the Abbey in Quincy, which they now call home, thinking: “All of this, because two people swiped right on Tinder.”
