Golden Gate Park is a must-visit destination in San Francisco, offering something for everyone. The park is home to several museums, the Japanese Tea Garden, and beautiful walking paths.
Since you’re in town during baseball season, consider attending a San Francisco Giants game at Oracle Park - the site of our first date!
Visit Ghirardelli Square, a historic waterfront destination known for its iconic chocolate, shops, hot fudge sundaes, and bay views. ** There is a Cable Car stop here if you want to use the Cable Car as transportation to Ghirardelli Square. **
San Francisco's cable cars are a National Historic Landmark and the world's last manually operated system.
Bustling bayside pier featuring scenic views, sea lion sightings, eateries, shops & entertainment. A must-do if you've never been to San Francisco before.
The Golden Gate Bridge is 1.7 miles long and the city of Sausalito is on the other side. Many people walk, run & bike across the bridge daily. The views are beautiful but it can be especially cold & windy on the bridge, maybe bring an extra layer to stay warm.
Located on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito is a waterfront town known for its stunning views, charming streets, and relaxed coastal vibe. Very beautiful city and much more slow paced and relaxed than SF. Grab a bite at Barrel House Tavern and thank us later.
Popular public beach in San Francisco with views of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Located just one hour from San Francisco, Napa Valley offers some of the best wine tasting in the world. If you enjoy wine, we highly recommend spending a day exploring Napa. Here are a few of our favorite spots: - Caldwell Vineyard & Winery - James Cole Estate Winery - Honig Vineyard & Winery (women owned) - Del Dotto Vineyards - Frank Family Vineyards - Whitehall Lane Winery
We went on the Napa Wine Train when we visited Napa for the first time together in December 2023 and we can’t recommend it enough! At the train station, you’ll find a “Lovers’ Lock Bridge.” Bring a padlock with you & your partner's names written on it, lock it to the bridge, toss the key, and enjoy a romantic journey through Napa Valley.
