What is the attire for guests at the ceremony and cocktail reception?

Answer

The suggested attire is semi-formal (with a pair of dancing shoes!) For reference, the groom will be wearing a suit & tie, and the bride is wearing a floor length gown. We're hoping for a warm summer afternoon/evening in Newburyport.

Are my children invited to the wedding ceremony and cocktail reception?

While we love all creatures great and small, we respectfully request that this be an adult only event. We look forward to hosting you and your 18+ guest. We appreciate your understanding.

Where will the ceremony be held if it rains?

Answer

If weather impacts our outdoor plans, the ceremony will be moved inside at Steeple Hall (the same location as the cocktail reception). We will update this website with any changes due to weather so please check back on our wedding day!

What time will the ceremony begin if it rains?

Answer

If the ceremony is moved inside at Steeple Hall, the start time will remain the same: 4:30pm.

How will I get from the ceremony to the cocktail reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception venue are within a short walking distance of each other. You can park for the ceremony and walk to and from the reception.

Where is the best place to park for the ceremony and cocktail reception?

Answer

The Waterfront Lot is the best choice for our event. Located off of Merrimac Street, alongside the waterfront, this lot gives you quick access to Waterfront Promenade Park, and an easy walk up Green Street to the cocktail reception. Parking is $1/hour, all day. The lot uses the Passport Parking app for payment.
