We're Getting Married!

Despite having both lived in Andover for several years, and crossing paths a handful of times, Glenn & Whitney had never officially met. It was fate, good timing, and technology (a dating app!), that serendipitously introduced them. Their first date was October 3, 2022 at LaFina restaurant in Andover. There was an instant connection and chemistry. In fact, their waitress thought they were celebrating their two-year anniversary. With the desire to extend that night beyond their lovely dinner, they decided to head to Tavern on Merrimack in Lawrence, where they danced until the 12:30 a.m. closing time .... on a Monday night. In many ways, that dance has never ended for them. Glenn & Whitney share a mutual love for the water and boating, country music, scenic coastal drives, sunsets, live music, long walks, short winters, Egg McMuffins (extra toasty), Charleston, SC, and life itself. In the Summer of 2023, they made the exciting decision to combine their lives in Newburyport, where Glenn already resided, and Whitney knew well and loved. Whitney and her two sons officially moved in with Glenn the day before her 30th class reunion from Newburyport High School. In the months that followed, they built the foundation for their new life together hosting parties and holidays in the home they shared and immersing themselves in their community, meeting many new local friends and business owners. Their greatest joy has been watching their four combined kids - and their parents/families - all become good friends. It became clear to Glenn & Whitney that what they shared is something deep and meaningful, not only for each other, but for their families too. In February 2024, on a Valentine's trip to London, Glenn asked Whitney to be his wife on a spring-like winter day in picturesque St. James Park. She was so excited to share the surprising news to friends & family back home ... and yet nobody was really surprised at all. They had all seen this coming from early on when they met, and in their hearts Glenn & Whitney did too. They kicked off their wedding celebration later that year with a Christmas week cruise through Central America with all of their kids, which they adoringly referred to as their "Familymoon". The next chapter in their love story begins on June 21, 2025. The first full day of Summer, a very intentional piece of their wedding day planning. They are so excited to share that special day with all of their friends and family who hold a special place in their hearts, and add abundant sunshine to their lives.
