Officiant / Best Man
When Glenn arrived at Purdue University, he knew nobody within a 600 mile radius. Little did he know, the answer to this problem was just 80 feet away across a grassy knoll in Hilltop Apartments. He met JD during BGR (freshman orientation), and when it came time for ice breakers, Glenn "stole" JD's dance move (Glenn did it better anyway). It was friendship and first sight. From living in their Fraternity Delta Upsilon together to battling bats with Calum in the basement of their senior year apartment, the 165, to enjoying the post-graduate life (when JD finally finishes Vet School), JD has become one of Glenn's best friends. Thanks in advance for being our wedding officiant and the years of free veterinary consultations!
Matron of Honor
Allison is Laura's oldest friend and only sibling. To say that Allison and Laura are close would be an understatement. Laura has been able to look up to her sister throughout her life, and would not be the same person she is today without her. As kids, Laura and Allison spent many hours on imaginary adventures, playing computer games, and making music videos. Laura followed many of Allison's footsteps, including extracurricular activities, attending the same college, and joining the same sorority. Nowadays, they still see each other regularly through monthly wine tastings, family events, or just spending quality time together.
Groomsman
Glenn and Trevor met in college as members of Delta Upsilon fraternity at Purdue University. As Glenn's Fantasy Football Guru, Trevor has helped guide Glenn to multiple years of not finishing last place. Trevor can always be counted on for last minute trips down from West Lafayette to come visit Laura and Glenn, and is always willing to humor Glenn in a spirited debate on everything from Game of Thrones episodes to the current and future state of Purdue Basketball. Glenn and Laura can always count on Trevor to bring a smile and a positive attitude to any situation, as long as it doesn't involve Purdue sports next season.

Laura and Kayla met in preschool when they were three years old, and have been close friends ever since! Their favorite activities growing up were playing Crash Bash on the Playstation 2, jumping on trampolines, and taking trips to King's Island. Even though they never went to the same school (past preschool), they stayed close through regular hang outs and extracurricular activities. As they've grown up together, they enjoy going to concerts, sharing a glass of red wine, and talking for hours on end.
Groomsman
Another member of Glenn's Delta Upsilon pledge class, Pat is always ready to have a good time. Many Chicago trips for Laura and Glenn have been possible because of Pat's (and his equally wonderful roommate Zach, hi Zach!) unwavering stance of opening his home for friends. His welcoming nature has always been evident, as he welcomed Glenn with open arms to hang out in his room when Glenn's was occupied by bats. Whether it's a new song by an artist you've never heard of or a random show on cable television you need to check out, McCue always knows how to bring a positive attitude and make sure everyone is having the best time possible.

It all began at Craig Middle School. Laura and Ashley shared many classes, and due to their last names, had lockers near each other. They quickly bonded over the absurdness of middle school - and stayed friends ever since. They spent most of their time at school together, and supported each other through Prom, school trips, and the inevitable ups and downs that high school throws at you. Even though their colleges were many hours apart, Laura and Ashley still get together like no time has passed!

As sophomore year Roommates from Room8 (how's that fish tank / bar / entertainment center think coming along? Almost done?), Jason and Glenn grew close through engineering (didn't last long for Glenn) and the realization they wore the exact same size clothes for everything. Nothing quite like getting an entire closet of new clothes for free! Glenn was even graciously hosted for an extended stay at Jason's family home in Homer Glen, Illinois (great name for a city), where it was quickly realized Jason is vastly superior at engineering than he is at ping pong.

At Laura's sorority, TriDelta, when a new group of girls gets initiated, they are assigned a "Mom". Their mom is usually one grade above the new member, and when the new member moves in, they typically share a room with their mom. A person at TriDelta is appointed to create these mother/daughter pairings, and that person hit the nail on the head with Laura and Lindsay. They easily bonded over their shared perspective on life. They gave each other support through passing relationships and difficult schoolwork with understanding and just the right amount of silliness. Laura and Lindsay still enjoy sleepovers, pool parties, and sharing gluten free snacks!
Groomsman
Also a member of Glenn's Delta Upsilon pledge class, Calum has used his skills as an expert bat hunter to save Glenn's life multiple times. From the beautiful, sandy shores of Santa Barbara and the winding streets of San Francisco to the rugged plains of West Lafayette, Indiana to the rough seas aboard Carnival Cruiseline ship B19283, Calum and Glenn have enjoyed many adventures together. Who knew a small college town in Indiana and the Philadelphia Eagles could bring someone from southern California and a native of the Channel Islands together?
Bridesmaid
Laura and Ally with both members of the TriDelta sorority. They got to know each other through the many functions and events that the sorority had, but made the strongest bond by being huge fans of the Game of Thrones TV series, and watching together every week. This quickly sprouted into a lasting friendship, even though they moved to different cities after graduation. Regular trips were made to either Chicago to Indianapolis to celebrate holidays, Game of Thrones premieres, or just their friendship. Laura and Ally chat regularly about anything and everything, and always end up sharing a laugh!
Groomsman
Chris has been in Glenn's life for over 25 years. As Glenn's older and only brother, they spent countless hours growing up playing Mortal Kombat on the Sega Genesis (a completely inappropriate game for children, Mom), playing water polo together, roughing it in the outdoors through Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, and building K'nex structures (for a Harvard garduate and Ivy League Architecture professor, Chris had surprisingly mediocre K'nex buildings). Although school and work has kept them in different parts of the country for a few years, Glenn still greatly enjoys catching up with Chris any chance he gets.
