Flight

Airport Recommendations

Assisi is between Florence and Rome, so if you plan to extend your trip, you may travel through either major city. We recommend flying into Rome (Leonardo da Vinci International Airport) where there are more direct flight options from major cities in the US. During this time of year, you may also find more connections directly to Assisi's local airport (San Francesco d’Assisi Airport), so feel free to look into this option as well, depending on your plans.

Train

Nearby Stations

There are direct trains available to Assisi Train Station from both Termini Station in Rome and Santa Maria Novella Station in Florence. You can view train times and purchase tickets according to your travel plans on the Trenitalia website below.

Rental Car

Rentals, Private Transfers & Taxis

If you'd like to drive through the Italian countryside on your way to us, we recommend that you rent a car directly from the airport and drive to Assisi. You can also book car services and taxis to/from the airport, train station, or any other transfers you may need during your trip. Please ensure you book private transfers in advance. Ubers are not common in this area, so private transfers and/or taxi services are most reliable.
