Matron of Honor
Jenna is Jackie’s older sister and best friend in the world. Growing up, Jackie wanted to do EVERYTHING Jenna did (Jenna was not so keen on this). Finally, around the time Jackie was 10, their relationship started to grow into the close friendship they share today. These two speak their own language, often filled with silliness and inside jokes, and will easily talk on the phone for 3 hours at a time. Jackie wants to thank Jenna for being the best big sister and role model, and for everything she’s done for Jackie her whole life. LYLAS
Best Man
Bryce is Tim’s middle brother and a talented and successful gymnastics coach living in Austin, Texas. Growing up, Bryce was always the athletic type. Things like riding bikes and climbing trees came naturally to him (ask him the story of how he learned to walk!). As the first sibling to come around, he and Tim have always been close. Even after moving to different parts of the country to follow separate dreams, they still have the best time whenever they get together. Bryce’s humor never fails to make Tim laugh and his kindness and warmth make him just like a brother to anyone who is lucky enough to call him their friend.
Bridesmaid
Erin is Jackie’s other older sister (technically “sister in-law”, but Jackie doesn’t like to call her that because in another life they were twins). Jackie and Erin met when Jackie was 11 and Erin started dating Jackie’s brother, Brian. They’ve become incredibly close in the last 2 decades (omg) and have mentally written a blockbuster film together that will someday hit a theater near you (title TBD).
Best Man
Ben is Tim’s youngest brother and a talented and successful artist living and working in Richmond, Virginia with his husband Dani. Ever since Ben was little, he’s been drawing and sketching and making beautiful works of art. He and Tim share many interests. The two of them are so on the same page about references and memes that sometimes it’s hard to understand what they’re talking about, but you can bet they’ll always be cracking each other up.
Bridesmaid
Steph and Jackie met in 6th grade while playing on the BRYC Stingrays softball team. These two are the definition of “double trouble.” Growing up, they never went to the same school but they eventually lived together at JMU in the famous 369 house. Now, even though they don’t live in the same house or even the same city, it feels just like those college days whenever they’re together. Jackie wants to thank Steph for always being a pal, and for listening to all of her wedding planning spiels while planning her own at the same time. Twelve-year-old us would love to know we’d be in our bridal eras together!
Groomsman
Danté and Tim met junior year at NYU during a production of The Baker’s Wife and became instant besties. Their friendship grew exponentially until they graduated college and became roommates in NYC. Living together solidified their forever friendship, and Jackie owes Danté thanks for many of Tim’s positive living habits today. Danté is an incredible friend and person, and Tim is so grateful to have him by his side on his special day.
Bridesmaid
Anna is Jackie’s oldest friend. They met in preschool at Burke Presbyterian and have been best friends since. They never went to the same school after pre-k but thanks to their moms were able to stay friends through scheduled playdates. Once they got their licenses they saw each other all the time. Though they live far away now, Jackie loves the random FaceTime dates they have (usually during the workday) and how it’s always so easy to pick things up right where they left off when they do see each other!
Groomsman
Tyler and Tim were randomly assigned roommates freshman year at NYU. They spent that first year having dinners at Downstein and trying to explain their vastly different majors to each other. They didn’t talk much beyond that until the next year when Tyler’s partner Melody joined them at school and completely changed the dynamic (for the better!). Wine nights and card games were the new regular weekend activity. The three of them became so close during college that when Tyler and Melody got engaged, they asked Tim to officiate their wedding.
Bridesmaid
Cassidy and Jackie met their freshmen year at JMU and became fast friends. They lived together at the legendary 369 house and even shared an upstairs bathroom! These two are cut from the same cloth and would often stay up all night listening to Taylor Swift, all while drinking the cheapest beer they could find. Jackie wants to thank Cass for standing by her side, and for still hosting the 369 girls every year at JMU Homecoming. #RollDukes
Groomsman
Matt and Tim met as freshmen and became fast friends in the incredibly stressful environment that is the New Studio on Broadway. They sat together in classes like Scene into Song, Voice and Speech, Acting as a Business, and Capoeira. Having Matt (and all the Gamers!) by his side made Tim’s college experience perfect and unforgettable. Tim and Matt have a friendship that will always be solid, no matter how much time or distance separates them.
Bridesmaid
Jackie and Mer met in high school through their mutual friend Stephanie and were meant to be college roommates freshmen year. While that didn’t end up happening, they did live together during the last 3 years of college at the previously noted 369 house and had the time of their lives. Meredith is incredibly sweet and has always been a friend who would drop anything for someone. Jackie wants to thank Mer for standing by her side at the wedding and for always laughing at Jackie’s dumb jokes.
Groomsman
Giorgio and Tim came into each other’s lives during college thanks to a mutual connection with a one Sommer Carbuccia, but they quickly realized that they were two of a kind and shared many interests. Tim and Giorg could talk for hours about nothing in particular and have the best time connecting on nerdy video games and tv shows. Even though they don’t talk too often these days, theirs is another friendship that won’t be diminished by time or distance.
Officiant
Brian is Jackie’s brother and will be officiating the wedding! Jackie and Tim spent a lot of fun times with Brian and Erin when they were still living in Virginia. (The four of them WON the Aslin Beer Olympics.) When it came time to choose an officiant, Jackie and Tim knew they wanted someone who truly knows them to be standing up there with them, and Brian was the obvious choice. THANK YOU, Brian, for doing this for us—you are the best big brother and soon-to-be big brother-in-law in the world!
