Monterey Regional Airport

We recommend flying directly into Monterey if possible, using Alaska Airlines or American Airlines. It's a tiny but mighty airport and 10-15 minutes from most of the hotels and the Barns!

San Jose International Airport

If you aren't able to fly directly into Monterey, you can fly into SJC and drive down to Monterey. Be aware that it is about a 1.5 hour drive, though the view is beautiful along much of the route.

San Francisco International Airport

For those of you arriving from outside the US, you may have the easiest time coming into SFO. Just keep in mind it is about a 2.5 hour drive from San Francisco to Monterey!

Driving

If you are driving from San Diego to Monterey, prepare for a full-day trip! You should try to make at least 2-3 stops along the way. The total trip time is usually about 8 hours.

Parking

While many of the hotels are within walking distance of the Barns, there are multiple parking lots in Monterey near the Barns if you want to travel closer. These include: Monterey Lots 4, 7, and 8; Portola Parking Garage, West Garage, East Garage, and Sports Center Parking.
