She is the one Giselle calls first and the one who keeps everything grounded when things feel overwhelming. Denise has a way of making hard things feel manageable and big things feel possible, and her strength has shaped Giselle’s life in several ways. Having Denise sit away from Giselle during the ceremony wouldn’t have felt right, so having her stand as Maid of Honour felt like the most natural choice.

She was Matt and Giselle’s biggest cheerleader through the dating years and the very first call when they got engaged. She was the one who inspired them to live in the Cayman Islands, travel often, and see more of the world. On top of being an incredible friend, Chloe is the proud mama of Raya and Bowan, who will be the flower girl and ring bearer at the wedding. Chloe truly is a superstar and one of the most important people in their love story.

Over the years, Brody has also become one of Matt’s closest friends. Living and working together built a strong friendship between them, grounded in sports, laughter, and their shared love for Giselle. Brody means the world to both of them, and they feel incredibly lucky to have him standing beside them on this day. Giselle and Matt love him more than words can say.

Her presence brings so much fun, laughter, and closeness into their lives, and it means the world to have her standing beside them on this day. They feel so lucky to be gaining a sister for the rest of their life.

From countless nights at the KEE to Bala, to legendary bar shifts on industry nights in Port Carling, the two have shared incredible memories together. The guy that encouraged Matt to approach Giselle in the first place, he’s been there from the beginning for every laugh and every big moment. Matt and Giselle are so lucky to have him standing by their side.

Maddie is Giselle’s best friend and has been one of the most important people in her life for many years. From pizza and poutine nights at the cottage to being scrunched down behind the tiki bar after long shifts sneaking raspberry mojitos, their friendship is full of memories that still make them laugh. Since Giselle was 19 years old, Maddie has been the person she looked up to and wanted to be like when she grew up. Over time, that admiration turned into the kind of friendship that feels more like family. Maddie knows Giselle better than almost anyone and shows up with loyalty, honesty, and a huge heart. Having her standing beside Giselle on this day means more than words can say.

Mayo's and Matt's friendship started in 2012 playing baseball on the same high school team in Aurora. Fast forward 5 years, and they started working together in 2017 and shared countless drinks, laughs, ballgames, and good times. Mayo has also become an amazing friend to Giselle, and an honorary uncle to Loka, having all lived together both in Muskoka, and Squamish BC. He’s a friend, a brother, and someone Matt and Giselle treasure deeply.

Kelly-Anne is one of Giselle's very best friends from the Cayman Islands. She and Giselle worked together at Legendz when Giselle first moved to Cayman, and that is where their friendship began. She is kind, loyal, and the kind of person who makes everyone feel loved just by being in the room. She’s also the amazing mommy to Lionel, who is their beautiful Cayman nephew. Giselle and Matt are incredibly lucky to have her standing by their side on their wedding day.

"Owl" was one of Matt's first friends in Muskoka, and the two have shared many memories working side by side in the kitchen. They both moved out West to BC in 2020 and shared many laughs along the way. Owl’s loyalty and humor have always made him a constant presence in Matt’s life, and his kindness has made him a great friend to Giselle. Matt and Giselle look forward to having Owl by their side on their wedding day, and to having him as a great friend in their lives for years to come.

Will Collins is one of Giselle and Matt’s very dearest friends in The Cayman Islands. They met in Muskoka in 2018 when Will moved to Canada for the summer and started working at TJs the same year as Giselle. Beginning that chapter together created incredible memories shared in staff houses, laughter (and sometimes crying), and unwavering support. Will played a massive role in Giselle and Matt’s decision to move to the Cayman Islands, where their friendship only grew stronger. From 2 a.m. shots at The Bird to swimming in bioluminescence in the middle of the night, lobster fishing, snorkeling, and countless unforgettable adventures, Will has been part of their most treasured memories. We are honoured that he is going to stand beside Giselle on this very special day!

Loka is the symbol of Matt and Giselle's love for each other. She’s been with them from (almost) the very beginning, when she was adopted in 2019. She’s travelled all over Canada with them and lived with them in the Cayman Islands since 2021. Whether she's by our side on adventures or curled up at home, she’s always part of the family. We couldn’t think of a more perfect pup to act as our flower (good) girl today. Her unconditional love and loyalty are the sweetest gifts we could ask for.
