- Pacific Beach - Moonlight/D Street/Swami's in Encinitas - Windansea/Marine Street Beach (great sunset spot, walking distance from La Jolla Cove) - La Jolla Shores Please be careful drinking at the beach. It is very serious here, keep everything in a tumbler. A beer in a koozie can get you a ticket.
- La Valencia Hotel - great place to grab a drink or day pass for the pool - La Jolla Cove - check out the sea lions! - La Jolla Tide Pools and Caves - great spot to snorkel, kayak, and check out the marine life - Walk around the village - there are many shops along Girard and Prospect as well as trails along the water - La Jolla Farmer's Market on Sundays - The Taco Stand (a must when visiting SD; do not be intimidated by the line!)
