FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We invite you to dress in your formal evening wear! This looks like suits with a tie and long or midi-length gowns.

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! When looking at footwear please keep in mind the soft grass. As the evening progresses it may get a bit cool, so we recommend bringing a light sweater.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Due to limited parking availability, we highly encourage all guests to arrange for a ride share (Uber/Lyft).

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. Please arrive no later than 3:45pm and allow for extra travel time.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As our wedding will be an intimate event, we are only able to accomodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you have received a plus one, they will be on your invite when you RSVP.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We have chosen to make our special day an adults-only celebration to ensure all guests and parents can fully immerse themselves in the joy of the occasion! We hope this advance notice means you are still able to join us for our big day and we are happy to provide recommendations for child care. Your understanding means the world to us, and we can't wait to celebrate with you.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

May 1st, 2026.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception together?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place at the Martin Johnson House.

Question

Will there be any pre-wedding activities?

Answer

Yes! On Friday, 6/12 we will have a cookout in our front yard in Pacific Beach in the evening (more details to come!). On Saturday, 6/13 we will have a welcome celebration at Cove House in La Jolla. Feel free to stop by and grab a drink with us to kick off the celebrations! Time is 8pm!
