Question

What safety precautions will be taken for COVID-19?

Answer

Upon arrival, masks will be given to all guests. Masks must be worn at all times, unless eating or drinking. Social distancing will be encouraged. There will be hand sanitizer stations in multiple locations at ceremony and reception. All staff working the wedding will be in Covid PPE.

How can I find out if anything gets changed or canceled because of Covid regulations?

Answer

This website will be the main source of updates pertaining to the wedding.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP will be March 1, 2021. You can RSVP on the wedding website or you can reply to the initial message that goes out from the bride or groom.

If I forget to RSVP, will I still be able to attend the wedding/reception?

Answer

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, you will not be able to enter the venues without a reservation. We ask that you RSVP on or before the deadline to ensure maximum occupancy is not exceeded.

Are there any colors you would prefer me not to wear?

Answer

Please do not wear red or white.

Where can I send gifts or items for the bride and groom?

Answer

You can send gifts or items to 94 Blue Jasmine Ln, Summerville, SC 29483.

Is the wedding/reception going to be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Wedding and reception will be indoor. There will be outdoor space available during Cocktail Hour and Reception.

Will kids be allowed?

Answer

No, this will be an “Adult Only” event. Please respect our wishes and plan accordingly.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be a free open bar at the reception. Don't forget to tip your bartender!

Will there be a buffet?

Answer

Due to Covid restrictions, there will not be a buffet. All food will be plated and served.

Is flash photography allowed? Can I post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

No, please refrain from taking any pictures at the wedding ceremony. However, you are welcome to take pictures at the Cocktail Hour and Reception. Please do not take pictures of the wedding ceremony. You are free to post pictures of the reception with our hashtag #CountdowntotheCarters

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Free parking is available at the wedding ceremony and reception.

Question

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

No transportation services will be provided. We recommend Uber, Lyft, and local taxis.
