For groups of five or more, please pre-purchase tickets online. Don't forget to dip your own bottle in red wax at the end!
Willett Distillery is an independent and family-owned distillery that dates back to 1936. The property sits on the outskirts of lovely Bardstown, Kentucky, in an atmosphere that is quintessential Kentucky. Once on the distillery grounds, one begins to understand just how unique the distillery and its surroundings are. Great efforts to restore the main distillery building, cistern room, aging warehouses and many other aspects of the grounds have the left the property totally transformed, with more exciting developments in the works. From the underground, spring-fed lakes, to the Kentucky split-face limestone exterior, to the old turn-of-the-century belt and pulley fan systems running throughout the distillery and visitor center, it truly makes for a memorable trip.
The Trace Tour begins with an engaging video of the history of Buffalo Trace Distillery. You will then walk amidst the path of rolling bourbon barrels. You will be captivated by the alluring smell and atmosphere of bourbon sleeping inside the aging warehouses. Then you will go inside the renowned Blanton’s Bottling Hall where you will see signature bourbons being filled, sealed, labeled, and packaged—all by hand. All tours are complimentary and include a tasting of some of their award-winning products. All visitors are welcome to walk in and there is no need to make a reservation unless you have a group of 25 or more. Please contact reservations@buffalotrace.com for booking large group tours.
