There are plenty of fish in the sea, but you are the only one for me. Ginna and Jeff, a modern love story, started with just a few clicks on a dating website, Plenty of Fish. After some messages back and forth they quickly realized they shared many of the same interests and exchanged phone numbers. Keeping it modern, a few text messages later, they planned to meet at Cabo in Rockville Centre for tacos and margaritas. Ginna, stuck at a job interview, almost cancelled. Luckily Jeff was willing to to stick around and wait for Ginna to finish up her interview. Skip forward a year ... Ginna and Jeff moved into their first apartment together. They continued to build their life together, and quickly learned that they were perfect for each other. As their love story continued they decided to share their love by adopting their dog, Shilah, and opening their door to a six week old kitten, Chooch, that was found in a dumpster by a friend of theirs. Jeff, knowing Ginna was the one for him, quickly proposed to the love of his life ... nine years later. They are very excited to being their new chapter as husband and wife, and share their special day with their family and friends.

A dream come true. Jeff put so much thought into making sure that Ginna would have the proposal of her dreams. They had a vacation planned to Puerto Rico on August 22, 2021. Jeff being the careful planner had this all figured out, or so he thought. Jeff planned or proposing to Ginna in their home, the morning before their flight to Puerto Rico. Ginna would be able to see her parents before taking off, as they were driving the newly engaged couple to the airport on August 22, 2021. Sounds perfect right? August 20, 2022 ... News of Hurricane Henri, scheduled to hit NY August 22, 2021. The day of their flight! Filght cancelations expected! Jeff, having a million and one plans while in Puerto Rico, had to find a way to get to Puerto Rico for the planned events. After scrambling all night on Friday, Jeff was able to change the flight to leave a day early. Jeff proposed to Ginna on August 21, 2022 in their home at 5:15am. They were able to share their happiness with Ginna's parents, as they drove the newly engaged couple to the airport. Ginna and Jeff made many 6am phone calls to their family and friends to share the great news! Jeff, making sure he did not miss a beat to make this the most special day ever, had matching shirts made for their engagement that they could wear on the plane. Only one problem, they left a day early so the shirts had the wrong date. The newly engaged couple made it safely to Puerto Rico where they would spend the first night at Jeff's fathers house celebrating. The next morning they would head to Rincon where they would enjoy the rest of the "proposal'moon". Jeff continued to pull all the tricks out of the hat by surprising Ginna with an engagement photo shoot on the beach and a private chef dinner cooked for them at their Airbnb. The final surprise would be flying Ginna's mother, accompanied by her godmother, to surprise her on the last 4 days of their stay in Puerto Rico. The list of curveballs thrown during this trip would have to discussed over a cup of coffee, but it sure left them with memories that will last a lifetime.
