Our Next Chapter Begins

We met for the first time in 1997 as college freshmen in Cedarville, Ohio. He was a campus leader, while she was a library nerd. While we had some mutual friends, we never had a "real" conversation throughout the entire four years. We graduated from college in 2001 and began our separate lives. Fast forward through twenty years, five different cities, and eight children, we reconnected on Facebook over National Single Parents Day and found that our first stories hadn't exactly led us to the happy endings we once thought we'd have. But...GOD! He was already writing our next chapter before we even knew it. The fact that we were living in different states didn't get in the way of God's work, and He began drawing our hearts toward each other. After talking literally every single day and visiting each other for weekends here and there, one day we just both knew undoubtedly that we were each other's future. We look forward to watching how God writes our next chapter and how He will use our new family to impact His kingdom!
