Question
What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony at the Monroe Congregational Church will begin at 4 PM. Please arrive no later than 3:50 PM. After 3:50 PM the church doors will be closed. Reception at the Blackhawk Country Club will begin at 6:00 PM.

What is the attire?
Answer
We’d love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting that all of our guests dress in formal attire.

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
If a guest is listed on your invite and when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.

Are children invited?
Answer
We respectfully request no children under the age of 18 on this special night. Family will be notified on their invitation if their children are permitted to attend. We hope you take this as an opportunity to enjoy a fun night!

Can I take pictures/videos?
Answer
We are having an “unplugged” ceremony and ask that all phones and other recording devices be turned off and put away during our ceremony so that all guests can be 100% present with us during this time. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you’d like! The wedding and reception photos will be shared with you all as soon as possible.

Is there transportation offered from the ceremony to the reception or from the reception to the hotels?
Answer
There will be no transportation offered from the ceremony to the reception or from the reception to the hotels. The Blackhawk Country club is about 21 minutes from the Monroe Congregational Church. Please plan accordingly and drive safely!

Is there parking on site for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! Spaces are limited at the ceremony, however, there is also free parking offered across the green at the Monroe Town Hall. We ask that you attempt to carpool as much as possible to the ceremony.

What should I do if I can’t make it?
Answer
You will be dearly missed! If you can not attend the wedding please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “No”, so we can plan accordingly.
