Gina was a Freshman at North Central College attending her first of many home basketball games when Vince (known simply as #24 at the time) caught her eye! Coincidentally they ended up at the same party later that night and Gina decided to introduce herself-- yes she'll admit, she made the first move. It wasn't long before they were connecting over their love for sports, sushi and sarcasm. After dating for several months, Vince and Gina made their relationship official on August 31, 2013.

The Fishers and Kmiecs planned a weekend to travel to the Fishers' house in Branson, Missouri for a short yet sweet summer getaway. Vince decided that with both families together in one place, this would be the weekend he'd get down on one knee after six years of dating. Knowing Branson has some of the best golf courses in the country and how much they love the number 13 -- he knew the perfect spot to pop the question. He knew Gina would be up for a round on the green, since the two often enjoy golfing together; of course he failed to mention the rest of their families would be joining them later including their new pup Nelly! As they left the 13th hole, Gina had a shiny new ring and Vince had a soon-to-be wife!
