Hermitage Hotel

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hermitage Hotel at a discounted rate for out of town guests. Rooms are released back to the public January 31st, 2026 and cannot be guaranteed available after this date. Room rates are based on the number of guests per room. Please see below: 1 person - 110€ per night 2 persons - 140€ per night 3 persons - 180€ per night 4 persons - 200€ per night Prices include continental breakfast and parking. Please call or email hotel directly to book as there is no availability online for these dates at this time. (Note: Canadians - the Italian phone number can be called via Whatsapp to avoid long distance charges). To receive the special rate, you must book by January 30, 2026 and mention the Comignani wedding at time of booking. For most convenience, this hotel is strongly encouraged as the welcome party and shuttle pick up/drop off will be located here.

Flight

Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (Rome)

For guests flying into Italy, Leonardo da Vinci International Airport in Rome is, in our opinion, the best option. It’s approximately a 2.5-hour drive from the airport to the Hermitage Hotel. Hop off the plane, collect luggage, follow the signs to the car rentals, fill out paperwork & off you go!

Flight

Abruzzo International Airport

For guests flying within Italy, the Abruzzo International Airport (Pescara Airport, PSR) is a possible option (airport has limited flights). This is about a 20 minute drive to the Hermitage Hotel.

Train

Train Options

Guests flying into Rome can also take a train or bus to Pescara (a city 20 minutes from Hermitage Hotel). From there, you would have the option to either rent a vehicle or take a taxi to Silvi. Please refer to the link below for available train options.

Rental Car

Car Rental

We strongly recommend renting a vehicle for your stay in Silvi Marina as there are no local taxi services available for easy transportation. There are several car rental companies available in the following locations: 1. Leonardo da Vinci International Airport 2. Abruzzo International Airport 3. Pescara Centrale (Pescara Train Station) 4. Pescara Terminal Bus (Pescara Bus Station) An International Driver's License is required for driving a vehicle in Italy. Quick and easy process, can be done at CAA. Be sure to have the person who will be driving book the rental to avoid extra insurance fees.

Shuttle

Shuttle Service

September 13, 2026 11:00 pm

Shuttle service will be provided to and from the venue. Buses will depart from the Hermitage Hotel in Silvi at 2:45pm and take guests directly to Plaza Vasto. Return shuttles back to the Hermitage Hotel will be available at 11:00pm and 1:15am. Please note the drive is approximately one hour. Be sure to indicate in your RSVP if you plan to use the shuttle so we can reserve your spot. Please keep in mind there are no taxi services available from Vasto to Silvi.
