Playa De Los Muertos

Nay., Mexico

Beach adventures – Playa de los Muertos is a small and secluded beach with calm waters ideal for swimming. It is located on the south end of Sayulita where there are fewer people, bars, and restaurants so plan accordingly. When you hear about surfers coming from all over the world to ride the waves in Sayulita, they are all going to Carricitos Beach. The winds are stronger and the waves are bigger guaranteeing perfect conditions for your surfboard. Patzcuaro is another beach in Sayulita which is a bit rockier. Although not great for swimming, it is good for exploring with a bit of rock scrambling. Go to the beach, find the rentals of Surf, Paddle Boards or boogey and start the adventure…. Don't forget to relax and enjoy it! Sayulita’s Main Beach starts directly in front of Villa Amor and wraps around a small bay for 1.2 miles. It offers a wonderful, mellow, sand-bottom break that’s perfect for beginners.

Marietas Island Hidden Beach

Mexico

Take a short boat ride to Marietas Islands National Park, admiring the volcanic topography of the area and looking for sea life and birds along the way. Your destination: Playa del Amor (Love Beach), a hidden cove accessible only through a cave entrance. Stay for about 30 minutes, then go snorkeling in the nearby reefs for the remainder of the tour.

Right and left reef breaks. Often with good waves. Monuments :: Accessible by boat only in the Punta Mita area and is known for its quality rights.Burros :: Generally a wave magnet for all swell directions. A bit more crowded as it’s in front of Palladium Resort.

San Pancho

San Pancho, Tepic, Nay., Mexico

Neighbor just north of Sayulita. Expect a left point breaking in deep water. Somewhat sporadic, but when it’s firing, it’s great.
