Why a random Wednesday evening wedding?
Answer
Our wedding date, October 21, was also the 94th birthday of Gina's grandmotber, Mary Marano. Since "Gram" couldn't travel for any of the weddings, we wanted to do something extra special! She received a birthday bouquet of flowers announcing our wedding taking place that day!

Where did the wedding take place?
Answer
The wedding was held about five miles from our house at Haak Winery, which is quietly tucked away in Santa Fe, Texas.

Did anyone know or were there any guests?
Answer
NO! We kept the day a secret from all friends and family. The only ones with us were the officiant, her husband and the photographer.

Who was the officiant?
Answer
Ann McGilvray was the wedding planner with our first venue and has been along with us on this crazy ride from the very beginning. It seemed only fitting that she take part in bringing that to an end!

Who took photos?
Answer
Ann's husband, Kendall, took photos on Chris's cell phone throughout the evening. Our talented and amazing professional photographer was Treva Wygle who owns Plan-It Ink Photography in Galveston, TX.

Will there be another wedding for friends and family?
Answer
Although we will not plan another big wedding, we are hoping to host a casual celebration once the pandemic is under control.
