PANDEMIC LIFE

To say that 2020 has been quite the year would be an understatement. By the end of March, we were both working from home. The world around us shut down and all of a sudden we were permanent residents of our couch. Spending six months constantly together in quarantine is not at all what we envisioned for our newlywed year. Luckily, we truly liked each other through it all and still wanted to get married!

WEDDING JOURNEY

Originally planning a spring wedding for May 16th, we were completely thrown off course with the permanent closing of our venue. We then found a new venue and rescheduled for October 3rd, which was also Gina's grandparent's anniversary. Unfortunately, COVID 19 had another idea. With travel still questionable and a new spike being predicted, we cancelled (again). The idea of a big wedding with friends and family seemed unlikely. We tried for a small backyard mini-mony and then Chris finally got called back to work. After three failed attempts, we were determined to become husband and wife in 2020!

THE BIG DAY

#InThePalmerHerHand

Our big day took place on a Wednesday, October 21st, which was the 94th birthday of Gina's gram, Mary. We had an intimate sunset ceremony at a quiet winery only miles from our house. The day started just like any other by taking our dog to the vet and doing some work. We were, of course, late to our own wedding but other than that it was a stress-free and laid back day. Although it did not include our dogs, friends or family, it was still a perfect day of "I Do's".
