This is close to our ceremony on Mt Tolmie, and they make the best takeout sushi! It's a busy spot, so make sure that you have time to wait in case there is a lineup.
Finnerty Gardens
Located very close to Mt. Tolmie, these gardens at UVic are beautiful to walk through and usually very quiet. Note that pay parking is in effect at UVic.

Located inside the Parkside Hotel downtown, this cafe is a great spot for a hot drink. And we'll tell you a secret... if you bring your drink into the hotel lobby, you'll find the sweetest koi fish pond!
Ogden Point & Breakwater
The Ogden Point Breakwater is a nice spot for a walk along the water on Dallas Road. The walk is about 30 minutes from start to finish. You will find plenty of free parking, or you can even walk there from our reception venue in less than 10 minutes. Food, drinks and ice cream are available at the Breakwater Bistro & Bar at the start of the walk!
