Kayla is the star of the show in the upcoming wedding. She is a beautiful young woman with great ambition, a passion for helping others and a love for the law. Kayla has worked hard to get where she is in life and has proven time and again that she means business when it comes to achieving her goals. Kayla spends a lot of her free time celebrating life events with her extended family and spoiling her niece and nephew and younger siblings as much as possible. Kayla loves to spend time with her friends and is always up for trying new things, but she is always ready to come home and spend time with her best four legged friend. Kayla currently lives in Baldwinsville with her Fiancé, Nate and their dog, Axl. She works as a highly talented Legal Assistant for the Law Office of Steven Dolson.
Nate Gilman
Groom
In the middle of the squelching hot Syracuse summer, 31 years ago, a bouncing baby boy named Nathaniel was born. Growing up, Nate spent as much time as possible getting into trouble with his friends, causing the occasional headache for his parents. After attending SUNY Oswego and partying as hard as he could, Nate entered into the industrial field of work. After much hard work and determination, he landed his current position as maintenance supervisor at Frazer & Jones in Solvay, NY. In his free time, Nate still enjoys spending as much time as he can with his friends, hunting, playing guitar, enjoying a warm beer (yes, warm), and shopping for a boat. Nate is always the life of the party, gives his all to family and friends, and is a gentle, happy man, with a beautifully shaven bald head.
Allicia Murrell
Maid of Honor
Allicia is Kayla's older sister, and the person who knows her the best. The two spent most of their child hood in the same room, trading secret handshakes, wiping boogers on the wall and tormenting their poor father. The two were known for being the best of friends, then the worst of enemies and then the best of friends all over again in the same 15 minute time period. As teenagers, the girls could be found finding ways to distract their parents long enough for the other sister when she needed a moment as a bad girl. All jokes aside, Allicia is always there to stick up for Kayla and is the best sister a girl could ask for. Allicia currently works as an insurance agent for O'Haver Financial in Newark, NY and is the proud mother to both our Ring Bearer and our Flower Girl.
Patrick Whiting
Best Man
Pat and Nate have been friends since they first met in the Baldwinsville Sharks Swim Club in 2002. They have gone through their ups and downs, as any friendship will, but have remained close as brothers through it all. Pat and Nate grew incredibly close through their primary schooling, the band "Dead End Street" that they co-founded with Chris Tessier, their wild times spent partying and being RA's at SUNY Oswego, sharing an apartment briefly after college, and their love for hunting. The boys work hard to find every opportunity to play hard and are always up for a good time. Pat is the friend that every guy hopes that he will find, and Nate is glad to have him as a brother. Pat now owns his own tattoo shop in Binghamton, NY along with his fiancé Adrianna, who does laser tattoo removal.
Carissa Wilhelm

Carissa and Kayla have been friends since 5th grade when Kayla and her family moved back to NY from Florida. Carissa and Kayla bonded over their shared love of cheerleading. They quickly became inseparable and found that they had much in common. Carissa and Kayla would spend countless hours gossiping about the boys in school and their older sisters, and staying up to the crack of dawn watching scary movies. Carissa and Kayla were always there for each other, supporting one another through break ups, bad hair days and the occasional head over heels tumble down the stairs that usually took out all the Christmas decorations. Carissa and Kayla have remained close, even though the distance continues to increase. Carissa is now a Nursing Student, works as a Nursing Aid and lives in Buffalo, NY.
Chris Tessier
Best Man
Chris and Nate first met in music class in middle school. They then became very close friends spending most weekends together in their teenage years. They spent a lot of time working on music with their band Dead End Street, and sharing their summers at Camp Sabattis. The two worked on staff as merit badge counselors, leading trips into the wilderness, helping scouts fit in and survive camp, and mostly getting into trouble and becoming men in the woods with their friend Dave. Nate is ever grateful to have Chris in his life. Chris is an connoisseur of fine flavors and has an excellent sense of mixology and as such, Chris now works as a distiller for 1911 Distillery in Lafayette, NY. Chris now has a family of his own with his wife Chelsea and their two adorable children, Cillian and Clover.
Steven Brendlinger
Bridesman
Steven and Kayla have been friends since middle school when the two were in class together. Later on, Steven became a cheerleader on the same team as Kayla and they bonded. As they grew up Steven and Kayla spent a lot of time together. Once Steven got his license and a car every driver in Wayne county got scared. From backing into the neighbor's car at the end of the driveway to accidentally doing stunts in the bank parking lot, Steven was Kayla's favorite menace to society. Steven has proven himself to be one of Kayla's best friends over the years through his consistent loyalty and ability to always be there for her. Steven currently lives in Buffalo, NY where he recently graduated from the University of Buffalo and is looking forward to building a career in the world of Dental Hygiene.
Bob Hennessey
Groomsman
Bob and Nate have been friends since middle school. From taking classes together to swimming together on the modified and varsity teams at B'ville, the two quickly became close friends. They spent a lot of time training together for the team, but also became inseparable outside the pool as well. The spent a ton of time on their weekends roaming the woods with paintball guns, playing videogames with friends, shooting comedic videos that would never be publicly released, burning up the slopes with their skis, and even learning the ins and outs of adult beverages from time to time as well. Bob now works as a Senior Engineer at the Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant, and has a lovely wife Leah who owns a graphic design firm in Baldwinsville, NY where they live with their two dogs.
Megan Williams
Bridesmaid
Megan has been Kayla's friend since middle school. Megan and Kayla spent a lot of time with Carissa and Steven doing fun things like going bowling, going camping and laughing together. Megan is always a great host to the group and is the perfect addition to any party. Megan is a excellent listener and is always one who Kayla could count on to give expert advice that she could use when she was in a bad place. Megan loves to go camping, spend time with family, take pictures on her motorcycle, the smell of cinnamon, and American Freedom. Megan spent time out west at BYU, in Idaho where she explored the vistas of the west and made a lot of new friends. Megan just recently started working as a 911 Dispatcher at the Wayne County Dispatch Center, and lives in Lyons, NY.
Charlie Edic
Groomsman
Charlie and Nate have been friends since Charlie and his family moved to Baldwinsville back in 2005. Charlie and Nate met when Charlie joined the varsity swim team. The two really developed their friendship when Nate convinced Charlie to come to SUNY Oswego to party hard, and become a Technology Education Teacher. Long story short, both realized that they did not want to be teachers, and Charlie got them both jobs at Upstate Refractory Services. The duo would commute together daily, until they finally moved in together. They became thick as thieves, creating a real raucous in the woods at Charlie's camp on the weekends. Charlie now lives up in North River, NY where he works for Barton Garnet Mines as a Production Manager. He lives with his wife, Nikki, and their menagerie of dogs and cats.
Jordan Hill

Jordan and Kayla met in high school when the two girls sang in chorus together. Recently the girls learned that Kayla and her sister were one of Jordan's mother's favorite customers at the snack counter in Wal-Mart where she worked. Kayla invited Jordan into her group of friends and they would all hang out together whenever they had the chance. Kayla and Jordan became so close that Kayla even asked her to her Senior Prom since the wonderful man she is about to marry was just a bit too old. Since high school, Kayla and Jordan have tried their best to get together as often as possible and have remained close friends. Jordan is currently in grad school at Nazareth College where she is studying to become an Elementary School Teacher, and her lovely voice will be featured at our reception!
Tyler Edic
Groomsman
Tyler and Nate's lives have had interesting paths that always seem to find their way back to one another. After becoming friends when Tyler moved to B'ville in 2005, the two also went to SUNY Oswego together. Tyler was often found hosting the social events that Nate would come and make a fool of himself at. Eventually the two drifted apart, but were reunited when they both moved to the Rochester area. Next the two would both move their lives to the South, commuting back and forth from Tyler's home in Savannah, GA to Nate's in St. Augustine, FL and vice versa as often as possible. Alas, Nate would soon move back North and Tyler would stay in Savannah. Tyler now owns several businesses revolving around media production and real estate in the Savannah area, with his loyal dog Lilly.
Morgan Ball

Morgan and Kayla have been friends since they were in middle school, when Morgan moved to Lyons. The girls spent a lot of time having sleepovers, going to football games, and talking about all the boys in their lunch period. Morgan loved to sing in high school and was in the school chorus with Kayla. After they graduated they still stayed in touch by getting together from time to time and going out for girls night out at Turning Stone. Morgan and Kayla also had fun together attending Allicia's Halloween parties and having reunions with all their friends from growing up. Morgan recently stopped teaching pre-school and started working as a Day Care Inspector for the State of New York. She and her boyfriend Tyler and currently trying to buy a house where they will live with their bunny, Jeff
Dave Andrews
Groomsman
Dave and Nate met at Sabattis Scout Reservation in July of 2005, when Nate was training to be a lifeguard. Dave had lived at the camp his whole life, as his parents both worked as rangers in the area. Nate joined the staff that summer and the two became friends and co-BEEFCAKES. Dave showed Nate a side of camp that most visitors would never see. The two spent time together in the off season, visiting on breaks and always having a good time. Dave eventually came to SUNY ESF for school where he met and married his college sweet heart, Kaylee. They bought a home just North of Phoenix, NY, where they would most graciously host Nate and Kayla, and where they currently live with their daughter and dog Bentley. Dave currently works as a scientist at Upstate Freshwater Institute.
Abby Raber
Bridesmaid
Abby is one of Kayla's friends from Flagler. Abby was a Psychology Major that also participated on the Mock Trial team, which is where she and Kayla met. Kayla and Abby bonded quickly, as both were strong members of the team who were seen as major competition for some of the other members of the club. Abby and Kayla were close friends who always had each other's backs whenever they went to parties. Abby was also a lot of fun to have at any event and also helped Kayla to celebrate her 21st birthday at the bars in downtown St. Augustine. Abby is also one of Nate's favorite people, since she knows to always bring him Cheezits. Abby is currently living in Sarasota, FL and working for her parents distributorship for Interstate Batteries, but has offers from several different law schools.
Alex Fedrizzi
Groomsman
Alex (aka Fed) and Nate have been friends since they were introduced by Tyler Edic in 2006. The duo really bonded over their shared loves for music, scouting and the Edic Clan and were often found engaged in shenanigans at the Edic camp, or working on stage for the infamous National Audio. Fed and Nate have always supported each other, from Nate's brief rap career, to Fed's prosperous businesses. Fed even went so far as to generously host Nate and Kayla's engagement dinner in Nashville, where he had just moved. Fed has since moved back to CNY with his wife Emily, their son Oliver, and their dog Molly. Fed spends his days working with his hands to provide for his family. He currently owns Fedrizzi Technical Services and is a world class entrepreneur.
Malia Brown
Jr. Bridesmaid
Though she may be the youngest of the siblings in Kayla's family, she certainly has the most sass, which she definitely learned from Kayla. Malia is extremely determined and also very athletic, playing all kinds of different sports from volleyball to basketball and even lacrosse and soccer. She works very hard to get where she wants to be and studies hard to stay on the High Honor Roll, so that one day she can pursue a career in the legal field, just like her sister. Kayla and Malia grew very close when Kayla worked as a coach on Malia's cheerleading team, and they spent the summer together exploring all the nearby parks in Rochester. Malia is currently a middle schooler who enjoys spending time with her friends, making TikTok videos, four wheelers, snowmobiling and jet skiing.
Jream Brown

Jream is Nate's soon-to-be brother-in-law, but he is also one of Nate's favorite people in the whole world. Jream and Nate can often be found hanging out on the weekends, and when Jream comes to spend the week at, his favorite sister, Kayla's house. He and Nate enjoy spending time playing video games, cooking together in the kitchen, sharing man stories and shooting guns. Jream is an incredibly kind and smart young man, who has been working hard to make his way through the nightmare that is the life of a teenager in high school. He absolutely adores his niece Addie and nephew Greyson and is always willing to give a hand when it is needed. He currently lives with his mom, Tanya and sister, Malia in Newark, NY and is also looking for his first job so that he can pay for gas once he turns 16!
Adalyne Granger
Flower Girl
Adalyne, aka Goatasaurus Granger, is Kayla'a niece. Addie is almost 2 and 1/2 years old and has the energy to match. Much like her mother, Allicia, Addie is good at getting into trouble then charming her way right back out of it. Addie thoroughly enjoys stuffed animals, Doritos, shoving as many blankets as possible in her bed, beating up her older brother Grey and her Uncle Jream, and being the alarm clock for the whole family. Addie has a passion for the culinary world and loves sticking her fingers in auntie Kay Kay's "juice" to get a sample of the complex flavors. Addie works hard at the artistic pictures that she makes at day care and loves showing them off to Mommy. Addie aspires to one day master the English Language and to be able to eat a full meal without wearing it.
Greyson Granger
Ring Bearer
Greyson is Nate's nephew and the son of Kayla's sister Allicia. Grey is a rambunctious little boy who has a great passion for dinosaurs and the word "butt-crack" alike. Grey is the older brother to Addie, our flower girl, and tries hard to be a good older brother to her, even if she does beat him up every now and then. Grey is a kind hearted and very spirited kid that loves spending time with his Mommy and his Grampy. Grey is almost 5 years old and will be starting kindergarten in the fall. He hopes to learn a lot about finger painting, Dr. Seuss books, the monkey bars, sharing, and lunch. We suspect that the teachers will sprinkle in a bit of the three R's ( readin', ritin', and rythmuhtic') too.
Sean Murrell
Father of the Bride
Sean is Kayla's father and was her first role model. Although life has not been the easiest ride for Sean, he always made sure his daughter's were happy, healthy, and pretty much spoiled to death. Sean shared his love of 80's rock and hunting with Kayla, with her favorite memories of the two of them stemming from the conversations they had preparing for hunts. Throughout the years, the two have shared many laughs, hugs, cries, and even a surprise trip to see their favorite band Journey in concert. The teenage years may have been hard, with Sean being the only male in the house, but he never failed to make sure Kayla knew he was always there for her. Sean still enjoys hunting, loves his secret fishing spots, being Grampy to his grandkids, and spending time with his girls.
Geoff Gilman
Father of the Groom
Geoff and Nate have known each other since 5:06 am on July 29, 1990. Geoff has worked hard raising Nate to be the man that he is today. The two have spent a lot of time together learning about each other and finding common ground through activities like scouting, camping, cooking, waiting for Becky to finish saying good bye to people at events, skiing and their shared love for movies. Geoff is a huge role model to Nate, even though Nate wouldn't admit that in his teen years. Geoff is a loving father and a caring and supportive husband who has always worked incredibly hard for his family. Without him, Nate truly would have been lost and he is ever thankful for all that his father has done for him. Geoff spends his time cruising the world with his wife Becky since he is retired now.
Tanya Murrell
Mother of the Bride
Tanya, known as LaToya to Kayla and her friends, is Kayla's mother and one of her biggest supporters. She is a woman with the mental dexterity to deal with three strong-willed daughters and one soft spoken son. Tanya has worked hard to provide for her family, and always does her best to be there at the drop of a hat in a time of need. Tanya is always a kind voice to turn to when you need a word of advice, or someone to give you a tight hug to get you through. Tanya enjoys shopping, attending the numerous sporting and school events for her two youngest, spending time with her siblings, and being the Grandma that let's her babies get away with murder. She is currently working as a medical assistant for an ENT group owned by Rochester General Hospital.
Becky Badman
Mother of the Groom
Becky and Nate go way back (like, all the way back, in Nate's eyes at least). The two share a love of being socialites and laughter. Both have friends all across the globe, always seem to know someone (no matter where they are), and are known as "the life of the party". Becky has been a great mother to Nate and has raised him with great core values and a passion for caring for others. Becky has always been Nate's number one fan, working hard to record every instant in Nate's life (as evidenced by the countless videos of swim meets with her personal narration), and being the best Team Mom there ever was. Nate is so appreciative for all that she has done. Becky now spends her retirement working for Monarch Jewelers, being a great mom and daughter, and an excellent cruising partner to Geoff.
Michelle Murrell
Mother of the Bride
Michelle is Kayla's step-mom and has known her since Kayla was potty training. Michelle is a caring person who is always up for wine and a good time. She has been a support system to Kayla through many tough times and is always present at every major life event for Kayla and her sister Allicia. Michelle enjoys spending time working on crafts with her Cricut, snuggling her three pitties, and is always willing to try new things. She works within the medical field and has a deep passion for the impact she makes on everyone that she assists within her work.
Tim Whiting
Officiant
Tim is one of the most honorable men that Nate and Kayla know. Tim and his wife Martha have been a part of Nate's life for nearly 20 years now, and have been like a second father and mother to Nate for most of his formative years. Tim has always supported and treated Nate as if he were one of his own. Tim and Nate can often be found out in the woods, or the swamp, hunting together, and have even been known to get into an informal friendly wrestling match or two when the mood, and the booze, strike right. Tim has worked hard for his family. He and his wife currently live on the river in Phoenix, NY and also own their own extremely successful business called Piggy Bedspreads. They have 3 children (Pat, Abbey, and Tom) who they love uncoinditionally and support to the very fullest extent.
