The Future Thomases

Rachel and Jake’s story began in their freshman year at Louisiana State University, where they were introduced through Rachel’s (now) brother-in-law, Jeep Henderson. Both active in fraternity life, they would occasionally cross paths at various events, exchanging a friendly hug and a quick hello, but nothing beyond that. When Rachel transferred to New Orleans to pursue nursing school, they lost touch for a few years. The two reconnected years later on the Parade Grounds while tailgating for an LSU football game. What started as a simple reunion soon blossomed into something more, and they began dating shortly thereafter. After a few months, they packed up and moved to Dallas, TX, where they've been inseparable ever since. They’ve grown together as both a couple and individuals, navigating life’s journey with sweet Millie (their maltipoo) by their side every step of the way. On December 21, 2024—exactly where they first met—Jake proposed to Rachel, marking the beginning of the next chapter of their love story.
