The Glen Town Center

1340 Patriot Boulevard, Glenview, IL 60026

Established in 1929 and commissioned in 1937, the Naval Air Station Glenview was vital during WWII as a pilot training hub for aircraft carrier operations on Lake Michigan. The base closed in 1995 and its land was successfully redeveloped into a civilian mixed-use community known as "The Glen" and now serves as a modern outdoor district with shopping, dining, and entertainment. It’s a great place to walk around, grab a bite, or enjoy a relaxed evening before or after the wedding.
