We know how hard it can be to miss out on a fun event, but PLEASE STAY HOME if you are feeling sick or if you were exposed to COVID-19. We must all do our part to protect those who are immunocompromised.
Formal attire (i.e., cocktail or evening dress, suit and tie, or something even more fabulous...)
Your guess is as good as ours. (NC loves to throw a curve ball.) We suggest planning for summer weather, but bring a jacket and rain gear. :)
Unless specifically invited (it will be represented in the RSVP options), the ceremony and wedding reception will be adults-only. If you are from out of town and need help finding a trusted care-taker, please let us know! Children of all ages are invited to the Welcome Party on Friday evening.
Yes and No. On Friday we do NOT have transportation scheduled. If you are from out of town and need a ride to the Welcome Party, please let us know and we can help orchestrate a carpool. Saturday Transportation: We are providing a shuttle service from Mothers and Sons Trattoria to our ceremony and back. We ask that you please use it! Please park your car in the parking lot or parking deck off Ramseur Street by 3:00 pm. The buses will be meeting you in the parking lot behind the restaurants off Ramseur Street and will depart by 3:20 pm at the latest to the ceremony. Mothers and Sons Trattoria Address: 107 W. CHAPEL HILL ST., DURHAM, N.C. 27701 PLEASE NOTE: Parking in the evening is next to impossible on a Saturday night in Downtown Durham. We urge you to please use the shuttle so that you can secure your spot in the parking lot early. Additionally, we ask that you use the shuttle to avoid having our street lined with cars.
Yes! In the case of severe rain we will move the ceremony to Mothers and Sons. We will make a formal announcement at our Welcome Party if the location will change.
