Our story begins on an unseasonably warm October night in Portland, Oregon. With friends in tow Gillian headed to the famous Alibi Tiki Lounge, a well-known karaoke bar. Amidst disco lights and drunk ballads, she sat down next to a peculiar man full of opinions. He foolishly claimed that David Blaine was the best magician of our time. Gillian, a fan of the oft-shirtless Chris Angel, took offense and a debate was sparked. Soon she learned his name, Connor, his love of music and singing Karaoke with his friends. He learned that she loved dancing, and loved singing, but was terrified of an audience. He cracked jokes, making her laugh, and over their brief 45 minutes she couldn't stop staring at him. Just before she left, Connor made the decision to ask Gillian a series of "penetrating" questions, securing her number and a date the very next day. Their story would continue for two and half more years before Gillian proposed, asking her own "penetrating" question, and the couple prepared for the next stage of their lives. Together we'll celebrate their story, drawing the curtain on their solo acts, and revealing a life poised to turn the mundane...magical!
