We can’t wait to share our favorite place with you! In your spare time, check out a few of our favorite things!

Bluffton

Bluffton, South Carolina is the perfect day trip or stop on your way to Hilton Head from the Savannah airport! Grab a snack or lunch from the farmer’s market on Thursday, have a sit down to lunch at The Cottage Cafe, or grab a coffee from Corner Perk Cafe and take a stroll through town.

Bike Rentals

Hilton Head Island has miles of paved biking trails, so hop on a bike and start exploring! Take a ride through Sea Pines and stop at the Stoney Barnard Ruins for a little history, Harbour Town for coffee at the bakery, and the Salty Dog for happy hour! Keep biking outside the Sea Pines gates and you’ll reach Coligny Plaza, full of shops and restaurants and right across from the beach. If you are staying in Sea Pines, we recommend Sea Pines Bike Rentals or South Beach Bike Rentals. If you are are staying outside of Sea Pines, Cross Island Bike Rental and Island Life Bike Rentals are great options.

Golf

With over 26 championship courses, players of all levels can enjoy diverse courses, from oceanfront to traditional parkland layouts. Golf clubs are available for rent at most courses.

Mini Golf

Not up for a full round of golf? Visit one of the three mini golf courses on the island, Adventure Cove Mini Golf, Legendary Golf, and Pirate’s Island Adventure Golf, and let us know your favorite!

Tennis and Pickleball

Prefer a racquet to a golf club? There are multiple tennis and pickleball courts throughout the island! If you’re staying in Sea Pines, reach out to the South Beach Racquet Club to reserve a court.

The Beach

It wouldn’t be a trip to Hilton Head Island without the beach! With miles of sandy shores, there is something for everyone. Rent chairs and umbrellas at Coligny Beach or the Sea Pines Beach Club, search for shells at Fish Haul Beach Park, or simply relax in the nearest sandy spot.

Discover the beauty of Hilton Head’s tidal salt marshes while spotting dolphins and wildlife on a two hour tour!

Lawton Stables

Explore the Lowcountry on horseback at Lawton Stables. The one-hour guided western-style trail rides will take you into the over 600 acre Sea Pines Forest Preserve. Reservations are required.

Sea Pines Forrest Preserve

Since 1970, the Sea Pines Forest Preserve has been a protected area for wildlife habitat and outdoor exploration. Following the construction of the first trails in the early 1970s, the preserve has grown to include bridle paths, wetland boardwalks, bridges and fishing docks. Pick up a map and explore the trails at your pace! Please respect the rules and regulations of the reserve while exploring.

Local Eats

There is no shortage of delicious restaurants on Hilton Head Island. If you’re looking for a morning pick me up, swing by Sweet Al’s in Coligny Plaza for coffee and a pastry. Java Burrito Company has you covered from breakfast to happy hour with coffee, dinner, and everything in between. If happy hour is more your style, check out Brother Shucker’s Bar and Grill or The Salty Dog, or find your own favorite!
