Mike and Meredith met the way that was the new normal of the dating world, we both "swiped right" to each other on a dating app and never swiped right again. Their first date was suppose to be a casual one at the Riverhead Moe's (Southwest cuisine). But due to google and the wrong business hours listed, their first was a couple of doors down from Moe's at Subway. Not usually one's first pick for a first date food option but devouring the foot long sandwiches wasn't going to stop this love story. They went on many adventures together like traveling to Ireland for a week with a 13 hour layover in Paris, where Meredith strategically planned out all the major landmarks to see in Paris including going on a 2 hour tour of the Palace of Versailles. On the same trip, they traveled to the Cliffs of Moher, bar hopped in Dublin, and became certifies pourers of Guinness. After 8 years, they have supported and watched each other grow into from a retail manager with a dream to design and a car part picker for a car dealership to 2 full time small business owners; Meredith runs a Bridal/ Formal alterations and Custom Dress shop making one beautiful creation after the next while Mike is a Pro MMA fighter with 2 wins and runs his pest management business.
