How far is the Henderson from the airport?

Answer

Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is about a 30-minute drive from the Henderson, and Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) and Pensacola International Airport (PNS) are both about an hour drive, just coming from opposite directions.

Will I have to rent a car?

Answer

Renting a car will give you the most freedom to explore the area, but all three recommended airports offer taxi, shuttle, and ride sharing options.

Do I have to stay at the Henderson Beach Resort?

No, we have also set aside blocks of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn Miramar Beach and Wingate by Wyndham Destin.
