Getting There: Train from NYC: Take the NJ Transit train from Penn Station to Bay Head (approx 2 hours). Air: You can fly into EWR or PHL and the drive from both is under 90 minutes to Bay Head. Pro-tip if flying into Newark: check NJ Transit to see if you can transfer onto a train heading to Bay Head. Where to Stay: For those planning on staying for the night or the weekend, we recommend renting a house, as we’ve found this to be the most cost effective way to stay. Most of the area is seasonal so there will be plenty of options in Bay Head and the surrounding towns at this time of year. Some great options can be found on VRBO, Homeaway & Airbnb. We suggest staying in Bay Head as you'll be within walking distance to a variety of restaurants, shops, bars and our wedding! Other convenient towns are Point Pleasant, Spring Lake, Sea Girt & Mantaloking.

We highly recommend this option if you are coming from out of town to make a fun weekend out of it! There are a great deal of beautiful, waterfront homes available to accommodate large families and groups during the off-season. Locations recommended: Bay Head, Point Pleasant Beach and Mantoloking.
