FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive about 15-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony which will begin promptly at 5:00pm.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! For men, suits and ties are ideal, and for women, elegant midi or floor-length dresses are perfect. Tuxes and gowns are also warmly welcomed if you’d like to go extra fancy. Above all, wear something that makes you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate! The ceremony will be outside then we will move to a place with shaded options for cocktail hour (weather permitting). Need some inspiration? Question

Do I need to stay overnight?

Answer

Yes, the last ferry at night is around 7PM which means everyone will need to stay over for Friday night if you are attending the wedding.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Visit the Travel tab for information on where you can stay! We have a 25 room block at The Spring House but there are other options for places to stay. We recommend trying to be in town so you can easily walk around. Please ask us if you have any questions.

Question

Will there be transportation to the venue?

Answer

There will not be transportation to the venue. If you are not staying at the Spring House we recommend using the taxi's on the island. You contact them via phone call and there is more information on the Travel tab!

Question

Who can I ask if I have questions about Block Island?

Answer

Please text Emma (774-276-1863) and/or Ryan (774-331-5755) if you have any questions! We are happy to help.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones will be included in your invite if applicable. We are trying to keep the wedding to close friends and family!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love our little ones but we politely request no children attend the ceremony and reception. Thank you in advance for understanding.
