We're getting married!

Suzy and Gilberto’s story started like every great love story begins — on Hinge, of course. After a two left swipes and a comment from Gilberto on one of Suzy's pictures, their story began. Gilberto likes to say there are two versions of how they first met, but there’s really only one… Suzy's version. If you want to hear Gilberto’s version, be sure to ask him at the wedding. In June of 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, with a mask on and sitting at Dacha in Navy Yard DC, their 3 hour first date marked the beginning of their life together. Gilberto likes to say that even after Suzy trashed Batman, he still stuck around to prove her wrong. But Suzy knew midway through that first date that Gilberto would be in her life for the long run. Six years later, after a couple of moves, career transitions, countless camping trips, and many adventures together, they are so excited to celebrate the start of their marriage.
