Maid of Honor
Hi, I'm Elizabeth's older sister and I'm very excited to be passing the role of killing spiders on to Joe.

Elizabeth and I first met during freshman orientation in college, but we truly became friends at the end of the year when we decided to room together. From then on, we were inseparable—going to dances, blowing off steam at the gym instead of studying (oops), taking dance breaks in the dorm room, or me blow-drying her hair while she studied. She introduced me to country music (which I now listen to almost every day) and bull riding and I like to think I introduced her to the luxury of having a personal hairstylist in the dorm. Over the years, we’ve shared countless memories and have seen each other go through the highs, the lows, and everything in between. What I love most about Elizabeth is her Faith and the way it shines through in how she treats everyone she meets. She is full of joy, always up for trying something new, and has a way of making life brighter just by being in it. I’m so grateful for our friendship and can’t wait to stand by her side on her wedding day—and for all the moments still to come.

Hi, my name is Juliana and I'm Elizabeth's enchanting younger cousin. I've known Elizabeth my whole 17 years of existence. Throughout those years, she's gone from being my babysitter to playmate to Confirmation sponsor (and still playmate). I wish her the best in her life with Joe.

I first met Joe on July 9th 2003. The day we were born in the same hospital. I remember seeing him that day like it was yesterday. I thought to myself, “I’m going to grow up to be taller than that guy.” After that, I didn’t really see much of him until high school basketball where he would out-rebound and outscore me every game because he was way taller than me. As soon as we were out of highschool (and I wasn’t looking at the bottom of his shoes as he grabbed the rebound) we instantly clicked and became great friends. Joseph is actually a pretty decent dude. His love for Jesus and his constant seeking for truth is what I appreciate most about him. He’s definitely someone I aspire to be like. Ps. Joe you might be taller but I know Jiu-Jitsu

Hey everybody, I like to think of myself as a humble guy. On that note, I’d like to take full credit for these two getting married. I was friends with Joe at Franciscan long before Elizabeth met him. As a dating advisor with many successful outcomes, I kept reminding Elizabeth about this nice guy from Virginia. After she finally met him, she couldn’t stop talking about this good looking, 6’3”, green-eyed and dark-haired country-boy….I realized the mistake I made. It would be the end of me with her constant questions and obsessions over the poor guy- “do you think Joe likes me?…it’s been 1 week and he hasn’t asked me on a date…can you do your guy talk thing and find out if he likes me?…don’t you think we’d be a good match?” I’m thankful to Joe for having this all come to an end at 1:30am several weeks later when Elizabeth decided to wake me up with a call exclaiming they were dating. The rest is history.
