We met through a community service organization in college. Gil purposefully signed up for events that Sarah was volunteering at in the hopes of getting to know her better. We soon discovered our mutual love for the Spurs and he proceeded to invite himself to a basketball game. We have been best friends ever since:)

Gil surprised Sarah with a day trip to Fredericksburg as our first getaway since the pandemic had started. Needless to say, we were both ecstatic to get out of the house! After sampling several wineries and walking around downtown, Gil brought Sarah to Southold Farm + Cellar to watch the sunset while overlooking the hill country. Sarah asked our waitress to take a photograph of the two of us on the hill when Gilbert got down on one knee.
