We are having everyone stay at Castello del Trebbio or at the nearby Bed and Breakfast we are partnering with. Your stay has already been paid for as our thank you for coming, so please take advantage! However, if you choose to stay elsewhere, please let us know so that we can alert our venue. (Guests staying off property are not permitted to be at Castello Del Trebbio except for the scheduled wedding events. This means no using of the pool or hanging out at the venue during the day unless there is an event scheduled.) We are so excited to have our closest family and friends all in one place to celebrate with us!
The closest airport is the Florence Airport. There are limited direct flights, so you will likely have a layover somewhere. Please see the Travel section of this website for information about shuttles and renting cars. Keep in mind, the wedding festivities are on a Monday-Wednesday, so you may want to take the weekend prior or the few days after and stay a night or two in Florence!
We ask that you wear formal attire for the wedding ceremony and reception, such as suits for men (Gil will be in a tux so feel free to dress up) and long dresses for women, with seasonal colors encouraged. The attire for the welcome dinner and wine tasting is dressy casual/cocktail. There will be walking involved in this event, so it may be better to ditch the high heels for this one. Feel free to wear whatever is comfortable for everything else! And don't forget to bring your swimsuit.
You will be provided with your rooming assignment at check-in. You will either be assigned to a room in one of the apartments at Castello del Trebbio, or you will be assigned a room at the nearby B&B. If you were given a plus one, you will be rooming with them. Please let us know well in advance if you have any other specific rooming requests and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Yes, outside food and drink (other than wine) are allowed. The only wine allowed to be consumed on premise is Castello del Trebbio branded wine. There will be bottles for purchase on premise and plenty provided during the scheduled events. Please note that breakfast and dinner will be provided each day of your stay. Lunch is not provided. However, there is a bar on site that will have food if you want to grab lunch at your leisure. In addition, the villas each have a kitchen if you wish to prepare additional meals and there is a local grocery store that is 5 minutes away via car.
Our venue has very limited space, therefore no additional plus ones will be given other than who is addressed on your invitation.
