Things To Do

The Oregon Coast is so special and if you have never been before, we encourage you to check out the area!

Oregon Coast Aquarium

2820 Southeast Ferry Slip Road, Newport, OR 97365
, (541) 867-3474

Just a 5 minute drive from The Hallmark Resort, The Oregon Coast Aquarium is beautiful and was almost the site of the wedding reception! If you love looking at fish, admiring seals, and walking through shark tunnels, we recommend you plan a trip. The Hallmark's website mentions that you are able to buy tickets to the Aquarium at the hotel desk.

Don Davis Park

840 West Olive Street, Newport, OR 97365
, (541) 574-5878

Park with beach access

Historic Nye Beach

Newport, OR 97365

Rogue Ales & Spirits

2320 Southeast Marine Science Drive, Newport, OR 97365
, (541) 819-0101

Although the guest has not yet experienced it for themselves, there is a brewpub right on Yaquina Bay, only a 2 minute drive from Hallmark Resort Newport.

Ripley's Believe It or Not! World of Adventure

250 Southwest Bay Boulevard, Newport, OR 97365
, (541) 265-2206

Yaquina Head Lighthouse

750 Northwest Lighthouse Drive, Newport, OR 97365
, (541) 574-3100

Mo's Seafood & Chowder (Original in Newport)

622 Southwest Bay Boulevard, Newport, OR 97365
, (541) 265-2979

The most popular clam chowder (New England style) on the Oregon Coast! If you grew up in Oregon, no trip the Coast was complete without a stop for some clam chowder at Mo's!

Newport Sea Lion Docks

525 Northwest 57th Street, Newport, OR 97365

OPRD Whale Watching Center

119 U.S. 101, Depoe Bay, OR 97341
, (800) 551-6949

About a 20 minute drive from the wedding site. Although June is not a travel/migration period for the whales, it is the time of year for resident whales to start coming closer to shore looking for some lunch!
