Como Way With US

Depending on whom you ask, Brock and Gigi locked eyes from across Rockhurst High School's (Brock was class of 2012) gymnasium floor on a humid, summer night in August 2011. From that moment on, their lives would never be the same. Gigi would spend the better part of her junior year fall semester pursuing a guy who had big plans for his future, none of which included having a girlfriend. Nevertheless, she persisted, and the two found themselves young and in love come Christmas of that year. The high school sweethearts took their romance long-distance when Brock moved to Annapolis, Maryland in the summer of 2012 to attend the United States Naval Academy. That next fall, Gigi made the cross-country move to Baltimore to attend Loyola University Maryland. The *college* sweethearts then endured the challenge of being only one hour's drive away from each other with no means to get there. Over the next four years, together they made plans for their future. On May 14th, 2016, Brock proposed over Duck Donuts and coffee in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, shortly before his graduation from the Naval Academy and commissioning into the US Navy. Being such career-minded people, they would end up continuing their long-distance relationship streak, as Brock moved to Florida, then Texas, and later Oklahoma City, and as Gigi continued school at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Needless to say, it's been over many miles and many years that Brock and Gigi have fallen in love and stayed in love. Now, they are finally ready for the next chapter of their lives as a couple and a well-earned end to the long-distance life, as they prepare to wed on September the third, 2021 in Lago di Como - Lake Como - Italy. Maybe Gigi knew all along that those four semesters of Italian language classes at Loyola would come in handy someday...just as she knew that the handsome footballer she locked eyes with all those years ago would someday become her husband... Maybe.
