Garfield Park Conservatory

Beautiful (and free) indoor gardens and koi pond. Annelise's favorite activity is trying to spot all of the tiny toy soldiers tucked away in the fern room.
National Public Housing Museum

One of Chicago's newest and most unique museums! The National Public Housing Museum showcases the stories and lived experiences of public housing residents in the city throughout the decades. One of our favorite features is the record room, where you can listen to vinyl by musicians who grew up in public housing (including Barbara Streisand!)
