Travel Note
We know many of you have expressed interest in sightseeing around Seattle, so don't feel pressure to stay at our hotel block for part or all of the weekend. Depending on how you'd like to spend the weekend, you may find an Airbnb or a hotel closer to attractions is a better fit for you. Here's a loose guide to the area to help you decide where to stay: Seattle: If you'd like to see the city and visit classic attractions like the Space Needle or Pike Place Market, staying somewhere near Downtown or Belltown may be your best bet for walkable sight-seeing. If you're game to take transit, find lodging along the light rail line. Bonus: Light Rail goes all the way to the airport and eliminates the need for an uber to your hotel. Woodinville: Our venue is in the Woodinville winery district–home to (mostly) decorative vineyards and LOTS of tasting rooms for all the grapes grown in the eastern half of the state. Chateau St. Michelle is the most famous, but there are lots of great smaller tasting rooms for all sorts of wine and beverage lovers. Eastside Airbnbs/Vacation Rentals: Other conveniently located places to search for lodging include Bothell, Kirkland, and Redmond. They all have small downtowns with walkable restaurants and things to do. Bellevue & Issaquah: If you're looking to jet off to the wilderness and explore, staying along I-90 in Bellevue or Issaquah gives you quick access to hiking trails and a straight shot to the mountains, but is still close enough to reach the venue in a short drive.
