Question

Where should I fly into?

Answer

Seattle-Tacoma (SeaTac) International airport is your best bet. There is a new smaller airport (Paine Field) but unless you're coming from a few limited cities, you won't find a non-stop or many options.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn Redmond-Seattle. You can find more info on our Travel Tab. There are also suggestions there on what other parts of town to stay in if you're looking to see some sights on your trip.

Question

How should I get around while I'm there?

Answer

If you're just coming for our events, we'll be mostly located at and around our hotel. We'll have shuttles to transport guests to and from the venue for the ceremony and throughout the reception. Rideshares are pretty reliable anywhere in the greater Seattle area and are a good option if you don't plan to roam much from where you're staying. If you want to explore the sights, a rental car may give you the most flexibility and lower cost than using rideshare everywhere, but be aware that parking in downtown Seattle can get expensive!

Question

Is there Parking at Chateau Lill?

Answer

Yes! There is parking available at the venue. We ask that you do your best to not park overnight, but if you don't feel safe to drive home please use our shuttles or an uber and return to retrieve your car by Noon on Monday. If you are driving, you'll park at the front right of the property but need to walk around to the back for the ceremony.

Question

What's the dress code? And will I need a jacket?

Answer

Dress code is cocktail or semi-formal attire. If you'd like to match the theme, we're using shades of purple and green for our wedding: lavender, eggplant, forest green, sage, etc. October weather in Seattle can vary, so the short answer is it's always a good idea to at least have a light jacket. The past couple years it has still been sunny and summery and so we have our fingers crossed for nice weather. Our plan A is for the ceremony to be outside on grass followed by cocktail hour. Evenings typically cool off, but we'll have heaters and be indoors for the reception.

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

To simplify service, we're having a buffet and are choosing a variety of options that we think will satisfy most major dietary restrictions. If you have more questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to Justin or Micaela.

Question

Something else?

Answer

If we haven't already answered your question, let us know how we can help make your planning easier. We're excited to get to celebrate with you all! Justin & Micaela
