The Plaza Hotel

Use our last names (Giaquinta and Jabara) or the code 1645 to access the rooms in the wedding block. Make reservations by May 13, 2026 to receive the group rate if there are rooms available. This hotel is slightly cheaper and more historical. It is a little further away from the Welcome Party location but is close to the wedding venue.

Drury Plaza Hotel Milwaukee Downtown

Make reservations by May 11, 2026 to receive the group rate if there are rooms available. This hotel is midway between the Welcome Party and Wedding venues. It includes complimentary hot breakfast as well as complimentary evening drinks and snacks.

Travel Note

The Hop

This is a FREE streetcar that operates in downtown Milwaukee. Streetcars arrive every 15-20 minutes. There is an app and a website with more route and timing information.

Train

Chicago Union Station to Milwaukee Hiawatha Station

Great option for those who live in Chicago. Inexpensive and takes 1-1.5 hours. Milwaukee station is downtown. You could walk to the hotel from here though would be a long walk so would probably recommend Uber/Lyft or the Hop.

Flight

Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport

Conveniently located close to downtown Milwaukee. However, does not have a lot of direct flights and can be more expensive to fly into compared to Chicago O'Hare or Midway. Can get a rental car from the airport, take the Amtrak train, or Uber/Lyft. You cannot walk to downtown from this airport. Could use the bus system but would not recommend.
