Man of Honor
DJ is Gianna's little brother. When thinking about who she wanted to stand by her side the day of the wedding she couldn't think of a more perfect person. Gianna and DJ are 4 years apart in age and as they grew up their bond became stronger. She will always remember the time that she tried to do a cartwheel in the living room and landed on DJ's foot. She's pretty sure that DJ won't let her live that down either. Don't worry though Deej, she still can't do a cartwheel. Even though Gianna jokes that DJ is the golden child of the family she knows that deep down this isn't true? In all seriousness, Gianna looks up to DJ and has always admired his drive and passion for wanting to get the most out of life. Love you Deej! So happy you will be by my side.
Best Man
Joey is one of Bret's best friends. Joey and Bret have known each other since 6th grade at Little Elementary. Their friendship really started to blossom their senior year of high school. Through mutual friends they started to hang out more. They became inseparable when they moved in together at the water tower flats. Their apartment was walking distance to Olde Town Arvada, you can only imagine what kind of trouble they could get into, and oh man did they. They had a lot of great times there and made many memories which they will both cherish forever. Bret and Joey's friendship is still as strong as ever and will last forever. Bret looks forward to many more good times in Olde Town Arvada with Joey and can't wait to see what the future holds. I love you Joey!
Bridesmaid
Alex is DJ's girlfriend and has been with DJ just a little longer than Bret and Gianna have been together. Gianna has loved Alex from day 1. They hit it off from the start which they both knew was a good sign. They have become close friends and cherish each other's company. Gianna couldn't think of a better person to stand up on her side during the wedding. Alex has truly been there for her through the years and Gianna looks forward to their friendship and bond growing over time. She hopes to someday officially call Alex her sister-in-law, no pressure Deej. I love you Alex and am truly blessed to have you in my life.
Groomsman
Bret has known Jarod since Freshman year of high school and for some reason he used to call him Jacob, probably because he didn't know his real name. Eventually, he figured out his real name. Jarod was the goalie for the varsity soccer team at Pomona. Bret met him through his friends who were on the team with him. Jarod and Bret have been friends ever since. Jarod played soccer in college and they always made an attempt to watch him play, even as far as Adams State. To this day Bret still supports him in his soccer endeavors and even joins in on occasion. Jarod helped Bret get his job at the company he still works for, Jarod doesn't work at the same place anymore because he is a quitter. Just kidding, he found a better job that supports his growing beautiful family. Love you Jarod!
Groomsman
Bret has also known Andy since high school, they met the summer from Sophomore year to Junior year. Andy played soccer with Jarod and Tom. Junior and Senior year of high school, Bret, Andy and their group of friends were inseparable. After high school Bret and Andy stayed close and kept up with their mischievous ways; hanging out, partying, and mostly having a good time. Obviously, not much has changed. Anyone that thinks they can beat Bret and Andy in two-on-two basketball game is wrong. Andy, may not be as fast as he used to be but he can still keep up. Bret enjoys how their friendship hasn't changed and looks forward to the future. I love you Andy!
Honorary Groomsman
Tom played on the varsity soccer team at Pomona High School, Bret met Tom through Andy and Jarod. Tom was the most outgoing person that Bret has ever met. His personality and good looks made him very likable to other people. Tom always wanted everyone to have a good time and feel welcome. Bret enjoyed hanging out with Tom because he always knew so many people. Bret and his friends made countless memories with Tom. Tom loved soccer, his favorite futbol team was Chelsea F.C. Bret and his friends would watch the games with Tom but in good fun would always root against him. Unfortunately, Tom passed away on February 5, 2016. Tom will always be missed by everyone that knew him, especially their close group of friends, but will never be forgotten. We miss you Tom and we love you.
