Light passed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be served. Afterward, guests are welcome to explore Charleston for dinner — find our favorite recommendations under the “Things to Do” tab.
2:00 pm - 3:15 pm
Our ceremony at St. Patrick will conclude around 3:15 PM. Shuttle buses will be available immediately following the ceremony to transport guests to Middleton Place. Note for our Catholic guests: Our wedding Mass will fulfill your Sunday obligation, as we will be using the Sunday readings.
4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Cocktail attire — bright and festive colors encouraged.
Note: The reception will be held at Middleton Place, about 30 minutes west of the church/downtown. There will be a shuttle to bring people to and from the venue at fixed times. If you plan on having to leave early, we recommend you renting a car (see transportation tab). Upon arriving at Middleton Place, guests will be guided into the gardens at Middleton Place for a brief welcome toast. From there, guests will have time to walk and explore the gardens at their own pace prior to cocktail hour at 5pm. Because the cocktail hour will take place outdoors (weather permitting), we recommend comfortable shoes and a light jacket.

This event is optional - come if you're looking to squeeze the most out of your Charleston weekend! The shuttles will make a stop at The Blind Tiger before the final stops at the downtown hotels.
