Roadside stand to grab and shuck your own oysters. They provide ice, oysters directly from the bay (you literally watch them bring them in), and any fixing you might like (mignonette, lemon, hot sauce). Not a ton of seating so grab a few dozen and then go eat them on the bay!
Want to explore Tomales Bay by kayak? Right up the road in Inverness you can rent single or double kayaks and explore on your own or book a tour. There are dozens of beaches in Tomales bay that are only accessible by kayak and are all time places for a picnic.
A super unique night kayaking experience where you can observe some bioluminescent organisms that glow blue as you paddle through the water! Not a guarantee you will see a ton of blue light, but if not, you will definitely be able to do some beautiful star gazing from the bay.
In addition to great seafood and produce, West Marin also produces some of the countries best artisan cheeses. Stop by Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Co for an amazing tasting of their cheeses with views of Tomales Bay
