Flight
Denver International Airport (DEN) has tons of flight options! From there, it’s about a 2.5-hour drive or shuttle ride on I-70 to Vail.
Flight
Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is just about 40 minutes from Vail, making it a convenient option if you’d rather skip the longer Denver drive. Flights are a bit more limited, but it’s definitely the easiest way to get close to the mountains fast!
Travel Note
There are a few different ways to get from Denver International Airport (DEN) to Vail: Most budget-friendly: Take the RTD A-Line train from the airport to Denver Union Station, then hop on the Pegasus Shuttle. This 11-passenger van goes straight to the Vail Transportation Center in about 2.5 hours for around $20. (Seats are limited, so book ahead!) Easy & direct: Shared shuttles like Epic Mountain Express, Peak 1 Express, Mountain Shuttle pick you up right at the airport and drop you off in Vail in about 2–2.5 hours. Car rental: There are lots of car rental options out of Denver airport! The drive is about 2.5 hours, there are a few mountain passes over the drive but nothing too crazy :) The venue has a large parking lot you will be free to park in the night of the wedding!
Hotel
We booked a group rate in Vail, just one mile from our wedding venue, Donovan Pavilion. There will be a shuttle to and from the hotel for the wedding ceremony and reception, more details to come on this! Please book through the link above prior to May 12th, 2026 to reserve at the block rate. Guests can take advantage of several transportation options from here. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to Vail Village and Lionshead to explore, with convenient access to the Town of Vail bus system a 1 minute walk from the hotel entrance. Additionally, parking is available onsite for 1 vehicle per room.
Hotel
We’ve reserved a second group rate at a hotel in West Vail, located just across the highway from our venue. There will be a shuttle to and from the hotel for the wedding ceremony and reception, more details to come on this! Please book through the link below prior to May 21st, 2026 to receive the block rate! Guests can take advantage of several transportation options from here. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to Vail Village and Lionshead to explore, with convenient access to the Town of Vail bus system. Additionally, the hotel offers parking onsite for $17.50/night as part of the group rate.
House Or Rental
Be sure to check out local Airbnbs or other house rental services for great lodging options! Some are within walking distance of the venue, and many are on the Town of Vail Shuttle line, making it easy to get around without driving! While there isn't a shuttle option from the venue for your individually booked stays (as there is with the hotel blocks), there are a variety of options for wedding transportation.
