We love your kids—we really do! But we want our wedding to be your night off! If you are looking for baby sitter recommendations, please let us know and we'll send some suggestions.
Cliff House is up to date, and exceeding the CDC guidelines with their top of the line air filtration systems and sanitation. Masks will be required in all public areas, but guests will be able to remove them during ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. There will be plenty of sanitizer available at multiple location points. We ask that if you feel ill on our date, please let us know. The health and safety of our guests is our priority and while we'd love for you to be there, we will completely understand if you need to stay home to protect others.
Yes! We will be utilizing Fran's Vans (14 passenger vehicle) before the ceremony, after the reception, and after the after party. Please plan accordingly to be at the venue before 3:45 when the ceremony begins. We will be putting a sign up sheet at the Anchorage check in desk with time slots to ensure all guests are accounted for. MANDATORY - Please no drinking and driving - Shore Rd. is a windy, unlit road which can be dangerous at night time. Your safety is extremely important to us.
If your invite says "and guest," we are happy to accommodate your date. If not, we'd prefer if it's just you!
Black tie optional - We know some of our guests want to look their best in their tuxes, however, they are not required! We want you to feel comfortable. Women, no white dresses please ;-)! If you are attending Thursday evenings events; evening casual attire. Something you will be comfortable in for both the rehearsal outside (check weather + temps), and cocktails inside. Suggested for men: Jeans and button up; Suggested for women: Dress or casual chic attire.
Short answer: Yes, but not during the ceremony Long answer: Take as many photos as you'd like through the night with the exception of the ceremony. We will have photographers and videographers there to capture the moment. We feel very strongly that our guests keep your phones stored away and be in the moment with us. Have you ever seen a beautiful professional photo ruined by someone holding an iPhone in the frame? If not, please google it and spare us! Throughout the night, we want you to be able to capture and share all the fun times we may miss - don't forget to hashtag #gettingsimmywithit so we see it!
We are happy to report that almost 85% of our guests will be fully vaccinated! Please continue to take precautions leading up to/day of our celebration. Thank you to everyone who openly shared the information with us.
