Laurie and Sarah have been best friends for 27 years! They have gone from kindergarten, to roommates at MSU, to roommates in Detroit! Sarah is incredibly thankful that Laurie has been by her side through life's ups, downs, and many awkward phases. Aly and Sarah were roommates at MSU and have been best friends ever since! After college they spent 6 years living together in Detroit in the notorious condo on Woodward Ave. Aly is a Program Director at Women of Tomorrow, a mentor and scholarship program for young women in the Detroit area. Sarah and Aly are more like sisters and have fully joined each other’s families. One of their favorite (and bizarre) traditions is to watch Get Rich or Die Tryin' every Easter. Elise and Sarah have been friends since high school and were roommates at MSU. Elise recently moved back to the midwest from California and Sarah is so excited to have her so close!! Sarah Beyer and the Bride became friends and roommates and MSU. Because of their names, the bride was given many nicknames at MSU. You may hear the bride lovingly referred to as Beefy or Reba. Sarah Beyer is a registrar at University of Michigan but still bleeds green. Sarah Beyer is the kind of friend who is willing to go on any adventure and will go in style. Flower Girl
The flower girls are Sarah's little cousins who aren't so little any more! Sarah lived down the road from the Sickle girls and would often baby sit for them and crash their family vacations. Ally will be dearly missed at the wedding, as she will be traveling through Slovenia meeting her boyfriend's relatives! Sarah is so excited for Ally's adventure! Erin and Sarah have been friends since they were toddlers! Although they did get into a spat over a drinking fountain at age 4, they have stayed very close friends. Erin is such a positive and supportive friend, it's no wonder she holds the record for most appearances as a bridesmaid. Erin is a pediatric physical therapist and lives in Holland, MI with her husband Adam (great name for a husband). Flower Girl
Jenna is another awesome cousin. This is Jenna's debut as a flower girl, so let's give her a hand! Sarah has a blast hosting "Cousin Dinner" each Christmas, where her and her cousins cook a meal for the family, followed by hilarious group activities. Sarah cherishes her memories with all of her cousins, and it has been a joy to watch them grow into young adults. Jenna loves the the outdoors. She is currently studying Laboratory Sciences at Northern Michigan University in Marquette. Kara is Sarah's youngest cousin, but is no longer so little! Kara is about to graduate high school and plans to attend college in the fall, where she will be on the pole vaulting team! Kara is incredibly hard working and athletic, and fearless. Sarah truly admires Kara and is so excited to see what her future has in store. Ashley and Sarah met at MSU and have been friends ever since. Ashley is a wedding extrodinare and wrote her own wedding ceremony. Sarah and Adam were so excited to have her officiate that they made her a proposal video that even included choreography. Ashley is a 5th grade teacher and lives in Oxford with her husband, Joel, and pups Eva and Elsa. Ashley and Joel are celebrating their 5 year anniversary during the wedding weekend! Geoff is Adam's older brother and share countless memories together. Some of Adam's favorite memories with Geoff took place when Geoff would frequently visit Adam in Florida to enjoy the ocean, even if there was a hurricane in the way. Geoff and his wife, Eileen, live in Baltimore, where Geoff is the director of physical education for Baltimore Public Schools. Ray is the bride's older brother. Sarah likes to brag about how her brother got a degree in Ski Area Management (yes, it's a thing) and has been out west living his best life ever since. Ray and his wife, Catherine, live in Bend, Oregon where Ray manages Mt. Bachelor ski resort. Sarah and Adam hope to visit Ray and Catherine soon! Zach and Adam were best friends in high school and have tons of memories together. Zach and his wife, Michelle, will be celebrating their 11th anniversary during our wedding weekend, they have 2 beautiful children and are a great example of what a strong partnership looks like. Megan and Adam went to high school together, but their friendship really formed when they were both teachers in Florida.
