Question

How will the venue (Liberty House) be taking precautions for Covid-19?

Answer

Sanitation stations will be available upon entering the venue, the entrance to our ceremony and reception room, and all restrooms. The ceremony will be outside with the reception taking place in side on the top floor of Liberty House. The reception area has a wrap around balcony as well. Justin and I will also be providing disposable surgical masks for anyone who may need one or an extra one for your purse!

Question

COVID-19 Testing

Answer

Although it is not currently required by law to be tested prior to attending functions in New Jersey. Justin and I will be taking precautions and getting tested ourselves. We encourage our guests to do the same! We love and care about each of you and your safety is our priority. Our venue is located in Jersey City, NJ. If you are not sure where to get tested in Jersey City or in New Jersey as a whole, please see the below link to help connect you with a testing center. Link: https://covid19.nj.gov/pages/testing

Question

What are the current Covid testing requirements upon arriving in the U.S.?

Answer

On January 12, 2021, CDC announced an Order requiring all air passengers arriving to the US from a foreign country to get tested no more than 3 days before their flight departs and to present the negative result or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 to the airline before boarding the flight. Air passengers will also be required to confirm that the information they present is true in the form of an attestation. This Order is effective as of 12:01 am EST (5:01 am GMT) on January 26, 2021. This information and information for what to do after you leave the airport can be found via the CDC's website at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/testing-international-air-travelers.html#:~:text=On%20January%2012%2C%202021%2C%20CDC,airline%20before%20boarding%20the%20flight.

Question

Why did we elope?

Answer

Justin and I always knew we wanted to get married. When he officially joined the Air Force, we knew it was time for us to do just that. Since Justin had to be shipped out so soon, we had a small ceremony at the church I grew up in. We wanted to make sure our future together as a military couple would have one less bump in the road. So now, we want to celebrate with you all!

Question

Why did we postpone our original date?

Answer

The short answer is, we did not think with the move overseas we would be able to put our full attention on our wedding details. We did not want to rush and make it happen just to happen. We want our day to also be a beautiful day for our friends and family, so pushing the date is allowing us to do that.

Question

May I bring a guest?

Answer

Unfortunately our venue can not accommodate every single human. So we are happy to have those attend who we specifically addressed the invitations to.
