Airport information, accommodation options... it's all here.

Flight

Rome–Fiumicino International Airport "Leonardo da Vinci"

This will be the closest airport to Tuscania. There are nonstop flights on Norwegian Airlines from Denver International Airport.

Shuttle

Shuttle From Rome International Airport to the San Guisto Abbey

September 20, 2021 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

We will have more information on this as we get closer! But let us know if you are interested in using a shuttle instead of renting a car. We do suggest renting a car, however, so you are more free to roam around Italy at your leisure.

Travel Note

Places To Stay in Tuscania

We suggest staying in the town of Tuscania in the Viterbo province (note: NOT Tuscany. Although beautiful and less than an hour away, it’ll be a very far drive after the reception). It’s the closest town to our venue, and just beautiful. From hotels to Airbnb's, you have lots to choose from. Just please be aware that taxi's are not common and we are not sure if we can get a shuttle to the town from the Abbey. So if you stay in town, please rent a car for a stress-free experience for all of us.

Train

Public Transit to Tuscania

It is also possible to take public transportation to our little town. It takes between 3.5-4.5 hours from Rome. Cotral is the bus operating system that goes to Tuscania, please visit their website for bus departure times, or Google Maps is a good resource also. It seems to be about $7-$10 by bus to get from the Rome Airport to Tuscania.
